2020 Ford F-250 King Ranch Looks Impressive and Powerful

When it comes to pickup trucks, the light-duty segment is the most interesting category. This segment is full of models from Chevrolet, GMC, Ram and of course, Ford. However, the heavy-duty segment does not lack behind. The 2020 Ford F-250 King Ranch will be one very interesting model to follow.

The F-250 model will look the same as the F-350 model. The only difference between the two models will be the towing and payload capacity. King Ranch is one of Ford’s most popular trim levels.

Exterior Features

We already wrote about the 2020 F-250 model. However, the upcoming King Ranch trim will look more upscale. It comes with the polarizing options on the front fascia. LED headlights are optional and are integrated. Halogen headlights will remain standard, whatsoever.

To the sides, the 2020 Ford F-250 King Ranch will get new 18-inch wheels. Power mirrors are a new feature and this feature is standard. The rear end will keep the existing basic tailgate and horizontal tow hooks. You can also opt for the F-250 King Ranch with the longer wheelbase.

Interior Updates

The interior of the 2020 Ford F-250 King Ranch will offer a room for five passengers.  Just like the base trim level, King Ranch also offers the same SYNC3 infotainment system and an 8-inch touchscreen. The cabin is spacious and materials from the inside are excellent. King Ranch offers power adjustable seats with memory functions. Comfort is great and heated and cooled front seats are standard as well.

Rain-sensing windshield wipers are the new feature and Ford will improve the under-seat storage. However, this storage is available only in the crew cab models. The 2020 F-250 King Ranch comes with some top-stuff amenities. That includes brown leather upholstery, B&O 10-speaker sound system, and more chrome accents. Safety is great thanks to the features such as adaptive cruise control, a rearview camera, and blind spot monitoring.

Engine Specs, Transmission, Towing Capacity

When it comes to King Ranch trim, this model will offer the same engines as the rest of the trim levels. The 2020 Ford F-250 King Ranch comes with a standard 6.2-liter V8 gasoline unit. It delivers 385 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. A 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel engine is optional and it delivers 385 horsepower and 935 lb-ft of torque. Both units are offering a Ford’s Torqshift 6-speed automatic transmission.

King Ranch trim can tow up to 21,000 pounds. However, with a 5th wheel towing capacity is up to 27,500 pounds. Maximum towing capacity with the gooseneck is 35,000 lbs. Of course, with the optional diesel powertrain. If you want even better towing and payload figures, F-350 model is for you. Ford F-350 is basically the F-250 model with a better tow rating.

2020 Ford F-250 King Ranch Price and Release Date

The price of the all-new 2020 Ford F-250 King Ranch will start at $57,500. Just to compare, the base F-250 model is priced at $33,500. The prices are intact as most of the 2020 model is a carryover. Blue Oval Super-Duty lineup will hit the dealerships this fall. That includes the F-250 truck too.
