Farewell of the 2020 Lincoln Continental

The latest rumors are saying that the 2020 Lincoln Continental will be the last Continental model. Unfortunately, this rumor makes perfect sense as the sales of the luxury sedan have hit the rock bottom. Even the redesign in 2017 didn’t help. On top of that, some other rumors are suggesting that Ford is planning to switch to rear-wheel-drive setup and bring bang the suicide doors.

If the news are completely true, the 2020 Continental will start its last production in Flat Rock Assembly plant in Michigan. This sedan will arrive with more standard features and it will be more expensive than the current model. It may sound like a strange piece of strategy but those standard features should justify the price.
