The upcoming 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition will be a very exciting model. Generally, Bronco SUV will debut with a handful of versions. Thanks to that, Bronco will meet the needs of enthusiasts and collectors. Of course, Raptor (Warthog) model is currently the hottest topic.
Moreover, the is the Everglades variant as well. Now, the new Heritage Edition is the next superb variant that will go on sale later next year. The first details are already here, so without further ado, here’s everything you need to know.
Ford Bronco Heritage – What Is It?
New 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition will arrive in both two-door and four-door variants. The latest documents are showing a two-door version coded E5G and a four-door model coded E5H. Fresh details are here and we know the Heritage Edition will feature four-slot wheels. Thanks to that, this model will gain a very modern look, mixed with the tradition of the previous Bronco.
White wheels are unique, but this doesn’t mean we are looking at the final version. On top of that, a white grille is expected, which is another cool throwback. Interestingly, Ford will offer the Sasquatch Package. This optional package comes with 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler tires. We don’t know if the Heritage Edition will be the range-topping trim level. Still, this model will look impressive and will offer a lot of premium stuff.
Engine Options
The 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition should be offered with a turbocharged engine. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 300 horses and 325 lb-ft of torque. In addition, a 2.7-liter V6 engine with 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque is offered. This is nothing new, but the Bronco DR might be equipped with a powerful 5.0-liter V8 Coyote engine.
The same powerplant can be found in the Mustang GT. With over 400 horsepower, the Bronco DR will undoubtedly be the most powerful model. Lastly, there is a Bronco Warthog model. This model will have a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine that produces roughly 400 horsepower and around 415 lb-ft of torque. As you can see, Heritage Edition will not deliver improved performances.
2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition Release Date, Price
Given that the previous Ford Bronco First Edition was a unique model, this variant might take its position as the highest trim level, above the Bronco Wildtrak. However, it will most likely slot below the impressive Bronco Raptor and extremely cool Bronco Everglades. The latter will include a snorkel and a Warn winch, according to numerous reports.
It is unclear if the Heritage Edition will make its debut at the 2021 SEMA Show. Given how many models Blue Oval is already bringing to the markets, we’re not sure there’d be enough room.
The pricing of the regular Bronco SUV should start at around $30,000. The Raptor (Warthog) model will surely cost around or above $50,000. This means the Heritage Edition will probably cost below that. However, this is not official yet. Moreover, we are waiting to hear more details about the mechanical and interior upgrades.
