2023 Ford F-350 Chassis Cab Spied Last Week

As we predicted, the new Ford Super Duty is getting a redesign. Now, the first spy shots of the 2023 Ford F-350 Chassis Cab are here. Not only that, but the new model will also introduce new exterior paints, more high-tech features, and additional packages.

The spy photos are showing some of the upgrades, however, Ford clearly prepared something even more. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait for more official details, especially in terms of cosmetic upgrades. The sales will begin in the second half of 2022 and here’s everything we know at this moment.

Ford F-350 Chassis Cab Spy Shots

The forthcoming 2023 Ford F-350 Chassis Cab has been spied for the first time. The next Super Duty lineup will get a complete redesign. The F-350 truck is no exception and spy images are the proof we needed. The spied prototype wears heavy camouflage, so some exterior parts are still a mystery.

Anyway, the new F-350 Chassis Cab comes with completely redesigned headlights. The front fascia sports a new grille as well. The prototype also wears new black wheels. The rear section shows similar taillights, so we don’t know how significant are the changes in the back.

Interior Upgrades

The new 2023 Ford F-350 Chassis Cab will have a more elegant cabin design. A new and more modern instrument panel is in the works. Even though customers can choose between two beds, only the basic cabin with a long box is available. In the XL trim level, there is a non-touch infotainment system that should help the Super Duty run better. There is an 8-inch touchscreen, new phone integrations, and Wi-Fi for up to 12 devices in the XLT trim level.

This isn’t all: The rest of the high-tech features include an optional 12-inch touchscreen and a Sync4 infotainment system that can connect to your wireless phone. Other driver-assist systems will also be available from Ford. These include extra cameras and blind-spot cameras. A better safety rating should mean that the truck’s rating will also go up. Lastly, Ford’s Blue Cruise self-driving system could become available, but only in the range-topping trim level.

Impressive Towing Capacity

The upcoming 2023 Ford F-350 Chassis Cab will have the same engine options as the one Ford already offers. In their current forms, diesel and gasoline engines are still available to buy right now. The base model has a 7.3-liter V8 petrol engine that makes 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. According to Blue Oval, this is the most powerful gasoline engine that is still on the market.

In addition, the manufacturer has a turbodiesel engine for better performance. These trucks have a powerful 6.7-liter diesel engine that can make 475 horsepower and a torque of around 1050 lb-ft. On top of that, when they are properly equipped, Super Duty trucks can tow about 37,000 pounds. According to some sources, the diesel engine would have slightly more torque, but Ford hasn’t said this for sure.
