2021 Ford F-150 Tremor Spied For The First Time

New 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor is reportedly in the works. That means the F-150 model will follow its Ford’s Super Duty lineup that already offers the brand-new Tremor package. It is an off-road package, and it provides a Raptor-like appearance. The latest spy photos are proving that Ford is working on the F-150 Tremor variant.

The same spy shots are showing a single cab pickup with a shorter bed and added aggressiveness. Tremor will slot below Raptor and above the FX4 Off-Road package. Its goal is to deliver higher ride, additional underbody protection, and generally, improved off-road capabilities. While we don’t know all of the details, here’s what we know so far about the new F-150 Tremor.

As for the design, the new 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor will look more aggressive than the regular variant. Whatsoever, we expect the same appearance as the F-250 Tremor model. However, F-150 Tremor will be a single cab model with a shorter bed. Furthermore, the arriving model will look more like the Raptor version. Spy shots are clearly showing the F-150 model with better bodywork and higher ride. That is exactly what Tremor has to offer, raised suspension, and various visual updates. Tremor is an off-road package that adds a couple of exciting things.

For example, F-150 Tremor will get underbody protection, larger shocks, and new 35-inch Goodyear tires. This model looks sporty, and it also looks beefier than the regular F-150. The Blue Oval manufacturer provides 10.8-inches of ground clearance and a 31.6 degrees approach angle. 18-inch wheels are available as standard, just like the brand-new off-road running boards. The skid plates are also in the offer. In our opinion, F-150 Tremor looks like a Raptor’s brother, and that is great.

Interior Won’t Deliver Major Changes

Changes on the inside are less dramatic. The 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor won’t depart from the Raptor version in terms of cabin design. Both models are very similar and are offering the same sporty interior. However, we think the cabin is practical, and it comes with a simple layout of buttons and controls. Blue Oval will add more upright materials, so the comfort will be better than in the base F-150 trim level. We expect small modifications on the center console and the dashboard.

If you want more luxury, Ford offers optional features. However, we don’t know in which trim levels will F-150 Tremor become available. The F-250 Tremor can be had in trims such as XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. For that reason, the chosen trim level will impact the level of luxury inside the cabin.

Engine Possibilities

While the Raptor is using a 3.5-liter V6 with 450 hp, Tremor will deliver less power. The most likely outcome for the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor is a 3.3-liter V6 engine. The naturally aspirated powertrain generates 290 horsepower. Some other reports are strongly suggesting a smaller 2.7-liter twin-turbo that can produce up to 325 horses.

With such powerful figures, F-150 Tremor can easily compete with Ram 1500 Rebel or Chevy Silverado Trail Boss models. While these two models are very capable off-roaders with plenty of power, we think F-150 Tremor gets points for a more impressive design.

2021 Ford F-150 Tremor Price and Release Date

Tremor package is available in the Super Duty lineup, and it costs an additional $2,000. We think the price is more than fair, given the number of upgrades that Tremor provides. For that reason, the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor will start at around $32,000.

Of course, you can buy Tremor at some higher trim levels, so the price will start even higher. The spy photos are here, so we can expect a new F-150 Tremor by the end of the current year.
