Lincoln could return its legendary pickup truck in the coming months. Yes, we are talking about the 2022 Lincoln Mark LT model. This makes perfect sense as the pickup truck segment is stronger than ever. However, it is a question if there is room for a luxury pickup truck, which Mark LT definitely is. This model is not present for more than a decade, but the comeback will happen in a one-year time.

Nowadays, every established manufacturer is focusing on crossovers and SUVs. On top of that, electrification is a must, so Mark LT should hit the dealerships with some sort of hybrid setup. On top of that, the Mark LT variant will also borrow a couple of things from the Lincoln Navigator SUV. This especially refers to the front fascia, including the same layout. On the other hand, the side profile will be different as Mark LT will combine stylish design with a more aggressive approach. A longer wheelbase is the most likely outcome and we also expect to see very stylish alloy wheels.

Interior Full of Luxury

This is a brainer. The 2022 Lincoln Mark LT will offer a premium interior design as this is a luxury pickup truck. Again, the cabin will look closer to the Navigator SUV and its interior. The Mark LT model will surely arrive with various cab configurations. Thanks to that, two rows of seats are guaranteed.

Under the hood, the 2022 Lincoln Mark LT will most likely arrive with a 3.5-liter V6 engine. It is a twin-turbo gasoline variant with 450 horsepower. On top of that, this engine is capable of developing up to 510 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission will be on offer as well. We mentioned a hybrid powertrain, which is a very likely outcome.

Reportedly, the forthcoming 2022 Lincoln Mark LT will hit the dealerships in the first quarter of 2022. The price is not available yet. However, Mark LT will rival other luxury pickup trucks such as Sierra Denali and range-topping trim levels from Nissan, Toyota, Ford, and Chevrolet.
