2020 Lincoln Navigator Black Label: Changes, Colors, Hybrid

Lincoln didn’t produce a best-selling vehicle in its class since the second-generation Navigator. However, new Navigator will be the best one yet, no doubt about it. At the top of the range, the 2020 Lincoln Navigator Black Label is the king of luxury. Black Label is the range-topping trim level and it offers nothing but the luxury.

It looks like Lincoln found the winning formula. A full-size SUV with premium options, exactly what America likes. Whatsoever, the competition in the full-size luxury SUV segment is basically nonexisting. The 2020 Navigator will introduce some changes and Black Label will also see some upgrades. This model will look really premium and you’ll have to pay almost six digits for it.

Interior and Exterior Changes

New 2020 Lincoln Navigator Black Label comes with slight upgrades and changes. Both the base and the Black Label model will get larger grille. Also, a LED Lincoln’s logo is now included in the middle of the grille. Interior will get more standard features, updated systems and it will look more elegant. Everything on the base model looks stylish.

However, the Black Label offers shinier details, more quality materials, and more premium features. There will be three rows of seating and a room for seven passengers. You can even opt for the “L” variant that increases the cargo area. Changes on both models aren’t significant but some refreshments are finally happening.

2020 Lincoln Navigator Black Label Yacht Club Edition

Perhaps the best thing about the 2020 Lincoln Navigator Black Label are the available interior themes. Lincoln is offering three of them, Chalet, Destination and Yacht Club Editions. The Yacht Club Edition is the most popular choice among the customers. This theme is inspired by the watercraft and it perfectly combines sea-blue leather with sun-bleached wood.

The combination looks truly amazing and perfect. In our opinion, probably the best-looking theme in the automotive world. The design is perfect and the interior looks stylish and modern. If you are looking for the most distinctive interior design, stop looking, Yacht Club Edition is the answer.

Powerful V6 EcoBoost Drivetrain

The all-new 2020 Lincoln Navigator Black Label comes with the same 3.5-liter twin-turbo engine. The EcoBoost V6 is producing 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is available. The engine is providing great acceleration and it can tow up to 8,700 pounds. Also, this unit doesn’t need premium fuel. On top of that, it averages 16 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.

On top of that, you can choose an optional four-wheel-drive configuration. The latest speculations are suggesting a hybrid drivetrain. According to those rumors, the same engine will be paired with two electric motors and the battery pack. The hybrid system won’t significantly improve the performance but fuel economy rating will be significantly better.
