The 2019 Ford Mustang is already there. However, we could see an incredible sale of the Bullit version for $300,000. The standard model is not going to cost so high. Of course, upgraded versions of the legendary muscle car will be colorful as always. We will definitely see Mach 1, Boss 302, GT500, and plenty of other performance-boosted variations.
The legendary car is still fresh, and no big changes are coming for 2019 season. Instead, Ford will surprise its fans with new packages and variations. Also, modest modifications will refresh the vehicle and make it more appealing. Mostly inside the cabin, changes will modernize the 2019 Ford Mustang.
2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350
Whenever we talk about the 2019 Ford Mustang, hardcore fans will ask about the Shelby model. In short period of time between 1965 and 1968, Ford released a performance-boosted version of ‘Stang. This car became so popular over the years, and it is not surprising why it gains high selling records after the revival in 2005. The third generation was launched in 2015, and now we will see a mid-cycle refresh. Shelby, or the GT350 model, is coming for sure in 2019 season, and it will be the most interesting version.
2019 Ford Mustang Specs
We are not going to talk about the 700+ hp rated Shelby GT500 model, although it is worthy of mention. Standard 2019 Ford Mustang will keep the current 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine as its main drivetrain. A 6-speed auto gearbox and independent rear suspension are part of the drive system for the entry-level model.
The alternative to a 4-cylinder unit is huge 5.0-liter V-8 drivetrain. A smaller displacement is capable to produce 310 hp thanks to a turbocharger system. On the other hand, the V-8 is coming with 450 horses in the standard version. Already mentioned Bullit version sold for $300,000 in a charity auction, was capable to produce 475 hp.
New 10-speed Transmission
Although it is still fresh, Ford will update its 10-speed gearbox for new 2019 Ford Mustang. As before, it is still routing power to rear wheels. With it, the 2019 ‘Stang will get closer ratios. Also, drivers will appreciate small gear steps. Also, this gearbox is perfect in combination with Ford’s EcoBoost engines. Whatsoever, the vehicle is not going to put up weight with 10-pace box, since it is slightly heavier than a 6-gear transmission.
2019 Ford Mustang Facelift
The 2019 Ford Mustang will debut with only minor changes. What does it mean? Exterior will come with additional colors, while the interior is not seeing any visual update. Instead, Ford will work on the new infotainment system. SYNC3 and MyFord Touch will get updates for the upcoming Mustang. Also, facelift could include some new features and extra safety equipment.

We can’t expect 2019 Ford Mustang to come more expensive. So, when the pony car hits dealerships, it will cost from $25,000. However, it is not going to happen anytime soon.
