Next-Generation 2020 Lincoln Mark LT

The forthcoming 2020 Lincoln Mark LT will arrive later this year. This pickup truck was discounted ten years ago. However, Mark LT was produced in Mexico until 2014. The main reason for its discount was Ford’s new F-150 model. It seems like a smart move as the F-150 model reached global popularity. However, Lincoln is ready to return its luxurious pickup truck.

The 2020 Mark LT will borrow plenty of cues from the Navigator SUV. Newest reports are suggesting that the arriving pickup truck will arrive as a Limited Edition. The cabin will be more upscale than the cabin of the F-150 model. However, these two models will share plenty of similarities, among them the same platform.

Exterior Redesign

Lincoln doesn’t know how to deliver a bad-looking model. Literally, the company’s whole lineup of vehicles looks fantastic. The upcoming 2020 Lincoln Mark LT will be no different. This model will feature a premium exterior design. However, Mark LT will hit the dealerships as the Limited Edition. Of course, the new model will be the next-generation vehicle. That means we can expect drastic changes. The pickup will suffer a total revamp and it will look astonishing.

Interestingly, Lincoln will keep the dimensions and shape from the previous generation. Also, recognizable Lincoln’s styling cues will be present once again. The stylish look is similar to the Navigator SUV. On top of that, some features are borrowed from this model. That includes bumpers and trapezoidal grille. Standard 18-inch wheels are unique and are looking very upscale.

Navigator-Based Interior

The next-gen 2020 Lincoln Mark LT will look upscale from the inside as well. The cabin is more luxurious than the cabin of the Ford F-150 model. Premium design is present and also similar to the Navigator’s interior. The pickup truck will offer the same leather upholstery, same dashboard and same layout of the buttons.

We can expect plenty of high-tech features and systems. Most of the features are standard. The infotainment system is updated and it comes with a 10-inch touchscreen. Longer bed size will be available too. Safety will receive a five-star rating for sure and we expect at least two interior color schemes.

Strong V6 Powertrain

Even the powertrain is taken from the Lincoln Navigator SUV. It is a 3.5-liter V6 that can produce up to 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Whatsoever, powerful V6 will be the only engine option.

The 2020 Lincoln Mark LT will get lower fuel economy than the Navigator model. After all, Mark LT is a pickup truck and not a modern SUV. Lincoln is promising a pleasant and quiet ride. Although, we are still waiting for towing capacity figures and acceleration/top-speed numbers.

2020 Lincoln Mark LT Price and Release Date

The all-new pickup truck will arrive as a Limited Edition, at least for the next year. The 2020 Lincoln Mark LT will cost slightly above $40,000. The pickup will arrive in the last quarter of 2019.

We can still expect a couple of changes, perhaps an optional engine. Also, this model will offer numerous trim levels. However, we still don’t know anything about this topic.
